Our barn is nestled within our farm, providing a secluded, relaxed, and natural setting for your gathering, providing an inviting atmosphere and unforgettable memories.
We are not only a venue, we do all it takes to make this once-in-a-lifetime celebration a dream come true. We are wedding coordinators and day-of coordinators; we take pride in handling all the magic behind the scenes so the couple and their families can enjoy every special moment the day brings.

Our event venue has been family-owned and operated since July 2017. As a sister company to our renowned wine bar, WineStyles, we offer a unique experience with our Event Venue, Restaurant/Taproom, Lounge, and Patio all in one location! Enjoy great food, fun events, and a picturesque view of the green space and fountain at the West Glen Town Center. With one team and one kitchen, we provide multiple venues and flexible, private event space for every occasion.

The Chateau is settled on twenty-one beautiful acres of vineyards, trees, and gardens, ten minutes outside of Ankeny, Iowa. Our facility boasts vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a ceiling-high stone fireplace in the Main Banquet Room. Our cocktail room and bar contributes additional space for guests to socialize.
We have two onsite coordinators that strive to ensure every event goes smoothly and the couple has the best day ever!

Curate is family-owned and operated by local Des Moines natives. Taste! To Go, the catering company that owns Curate, has been serving Central Iowa since 2004. With over 20 years of experience, we offer quality catering, bar service, and event planning. From our beginnings in the Drake Neighborhood serving fish tacos and hand-cut fries, we believe in supporting independent, locally-owned businesses. Our kitchen in the Waveland Neighborhood serves as the heart of our operations, where everything from planning to styling happens. In 2016, we introduced Curate – East Village Event Venue, and in 2024, we've reinvested in a new expansion and renovation for enhanced functionality and a fresh look.
